HushMat Ultra Trunk Sound Deadening Kit with Stealth Black Foil treats the metal and plastic in your trunk, insulating the metal and trim panels and reducing vibration. You can also reduce the noise level inside your vehicle up to 15 dB as well as reduce thermal transfer from your hot car parts into the car's interior. HushMat is super-easy to install because it is self-adhesive, does not require special tools, surface prep or any adhesives, nor will it contaminate spray operations. And you can use it in firewalls, floor pans, tunnels, doors, roof, rear wheel wells, trunk and quarter panels. HushMat Ultra is a pressure-sensitive, constrained-layer damper, which has excellent adhesion to many difficult to bond substrates such as oily cold rolled steel, automotive E-coat, primers and finishes plus many plastics including polypropylene. The aluminum foil constraining layer and specially formulated visco-elastic polymer layer combine to give effective vibration damping over a wide temperature range. HushMat is the only OEM specified and approved sound deadening and thermal insulating material available to the automotive aftermarket. This kit contains 10 sheets of 12 in. x 23 in. Stealth Black Foil for 19 sq. ft. of coverage.
