Great features but horrible reliability

I have had this for a few year and had nothing but trouble with it. Both icemakers had to be replaced and twice it just shut off. This last time it leaked water from the ice maker in the door and warped my wood floors.

Love the fridge

The fridge basically has every feature that i wanted in a fridge. The only concern i had was that the ice maker would break which it eventually did. They sent me a replacement for free so it wasnt too bad seeing that i was still in warranty. But the space is vast and the fridge is always something people mention when they walk in and they share how grand it looks.

Cheaply made and breaks easily

Had this refrigerator 6 months and it says to replace the air filter. I watch the video on how to do it rotate the cover counterclockwise like it says and the tabs break of making the entire air filter useless. Hate this refrigerator and all the cheap plastic parts that dont last.

I had an issue with my craft ice maker in my LG 4 door door in door fridge and went online and chatted with a representative and then was able to actually speak to someone that was also very helpful and got me a replacement at no cost to me and it can to me very quickly unless than 5 days I love my refrigerator and I also have the wash tower which I also live as much

Terrible refrigerator

Do not purchase I really hope there a class action lawsuit in the works. My tech informed me that LG is aware of the ongoing issue with this expensive modle colling system. Ive own my refrigerator for less than 3 years and LG has deemed it to be unrepairable. LG is refusing to send a more season tech to attempt to fix my issue. Lg is refusing to compensate for the price of this refrigerator. I will never ever by another LG product again.

DONT DO IT class actions in effect

these products look good but thats about it the compressors dont live up to their expected time 5 years means 1 Ive had mines repaired at least once a year and they dont inform you that in order for the to count the repairs that you have to go through them for a refund its Aug 2024 I purchased these products in 2019 and Ive had repairs done every year on the refrigerator twice this year they will just keep putting the same fault compressors and other parts on their products instead of upgrading the products again there are class actions on this trash

Very pleased with the LRMVC2306S stainless steel unit. i did a lot of searching and read reviews on brands and specific units to make my final selection. Costco had a great online deal that include an extra small frig with the purchase. Costco makes it easy for me with haul away and install.

We love this fridge. Great features and seems very well made. Love the door-in-door. Only con has been the air filter cover which would not come off easily and broke when giving it enough force to remove. But LG warranty replacement was very smooth and efficient.

Great fridge Love the door in door feature and craft ice . Not a fan of the lower door handles since they seem they could easily come off when the doors a slid open. The top one already has and Im not sure if its how they were installed not tightened well or a defect in the product itself. I have a feeling that they were not tightened well but well see. The ice dispenser is a little delayed when I press it but this may actually be a good thing to prevent too much ice from coming out at once. Something Im getting use to. Otherwise I absolutely love it The craft ice is wonderful. Great to have Cold water coming from the fridge since my Arizona faucets only provides warm water in the summer.

We remodeled our kitchen and heard such good reviews on LG products. Love the craft crushed and craft ice. The full convert drawer is super and easy to use. The glass top refrigerator door you can knock 2 times to see what is inside and it also splits open so you do not have to open door up fully as an energy saver. I will be needing a new washser and dryer soon and will see what LG has to offer. Would recommend refrigerator to anyone looking for a replacement.

Refrigerator does NOT function

This refrigerator is unusable The fan to circulate the cold air doesnt seem to function so the refrigerator compartment cant get cooler than about 40 F regardless of the set temperature which is NOT a safe temperature for food. We had the malfunctioning refrigerator replaced with the same model and that second refrigerator suffers from the same problem.

Chemical ice craft taste finally gone after a year

One full year. Thats what it took to clear the chemical taste out of the craft ice balls. At first the chemical taste was so bad you couldnt drink ice water made with the craft ice. Gradually after using it and sometimes flushing it out by pushing the hidden button and cycling through pretend ice making it starting tasting less like a chemical and more like a sweet taste. And now one year after I started using it the chemical and other tastes are gone and the craft ice tastes just fine. What a relief The upper regular ice never had this issue and I still dont know what caused it but it sure is nice its gone.

Real like it

6 weeks into ownership and this refrigerator is rocking. The two ice makers work fantastically and the craft ice tray stays empty because everyone loves it can only make 6 per day. The interior is also well spaced and has a lot of room. The freezer loses a little space due to the 2nd craft ice maker but it is worth the sacrifice.

I like many features of this fridge. Especially the door in door and the 4th middle drawer that can be fridge space or freezer space. Having trouble with the second ice maker. Three craft ice balls every one or two days? Having a repair person come tomorrow to check it out. Freezer itself is small but I have an upright freezer in addition so doesnt matter too much.

Great features the layout is perfect but the refrigerator and freezer are unstable refrigerator turned down to 33 stays between 39 and 48. The freezer is set at -4 but average temp is between 10 and 28 using a quality thermometer that I am sure is accurate

I bought this just over 2 years ago. It was repaired 3 times during those 2 years. In May 2024 it finally died and LG could not fix it. I was told it would be replaced but instead they refunded me and then I had to go buy a new fridge and wait for that to be delivered. Almost 2 months without a working fridge. :

Touch buttons dont last and no LG support

I bought this refrigerator for many reasons however the touch button for the cubed ice stopped working. While trying to chat online and speak with LG Solutions to resolve the issue I get disconnected and hung up on. This small issue should have been resolved without incident. What happened to customer service? Im sure this review will have little to no impact on anything but if it helps one person avoid a headache dealing with LG than it has been worth it I have purchased many LG items in the past thinking LG was a Lifes Good company and stood buy their consumers unfortunately I was wrong.

The refrigerator was wonderful when we bought it 3 or so years ago up until a little over a month ago. We loved the product and the features. Then the compressor went then another part broke. We called got someone here in a week and then it took another week for the part to come in and get it fixed it was still under warranty. Then the ice makers would no longer work. Again we called for someone to come out. He reset something 2 days later still no ice. We called again someone came out and another part was ordered. It took another week to come in and will be installed next week. In the mean meantime the refrigerator is cool but the freezer is now not freezing anything. We are hoping that when they install this next piece it will take care of the ice maker and the freezer. We have now been without a freezer for over a month.
