On my dryer™€™s one week anniversary, the dryer just would not start. We were about to call Electrolux, and tried one last time. It started. Nice to know we have an intermittent problem. Now the washer. The ledge where the gasket is is way too wide. My no show socks get stuck on the ledge or stuck in the gasket. I have to wash them in a lingerie bag.

I love my new washer and dryer. The dryer lights up when the door is open to see everything clearly and the lint basket is so unique. It captures the lint and traps it in a basket type device thats easy to clean out. I love the various settings to meet all my needs for the different articles I am drying.

Complete Lack Of Customer Service

I purchased this dryer from Lowes two months ago and unfortunately did not run it within the 48 hour return period. Right away the dryer began malfunctioning--drum light turning on randomly, dryer pausing for no reason, no heat on auto dry, control panel turning on by itself. Since I had already missed Lowes' return window I reached out to Electrolux to see if they would give me a return authorization since the dryer was brand new and never worked properly. Instead of the RA, Electrolux has sent out a very nice repairman four times so far and he'll be back again this week. For two months now I have had a barely working brand new dryer and have to adjust my schedule weekly in order to make new appointments. This is in addition to all of the time I have spent on the phone with their call center overseas. They have now most likely spent more on the repairman than I spent on the dryer, and still they refuse to let me return the unit. My advice is to steer clear of Electrolux/Frigidaire and go with the better customer service of GE or even Samsung.

Once Working Appliance Received, Works Perfectly!

Original dryer installed did not work properly from the beginning and had something stuck in the inside of the machine which clanked incessantly. Electrolux was absolutely no help even though I had never even used the dryer. I called Lowe's where I had purchased the set and they immediately set up delivery for a replacement at no cost. That dryer was set up and worked perfectly right off the bat. Excellent appliance but I dread having any issues down the road due to my fear that Electrolux will just tell me as before that there are no authorized companies to work on these machines in my area.

Love my dryer. It holds a lot of laundry. It dries very well. I wish I'd gotten the model with anti static but I didn't know that existed. My one complaint is that it takes so long to run a dry cycle. I'm sure it somehow has to do with energy efficiency but it's a pain. I bumped it down low dry which took 10 minutes off the cycle time.

Slow to dry unless it is in Dry Boost mode. Lint does not all get caught and it ends up all over the door. Lint screen is hard to clean without link flying everywhere.

After going back and forth on which brand and models to buy, we decided on the matching pair from Electrolux. They were delivered as promised and were tested before completion of delivery.
