I received this from the warranty company as replacement for he previous model which went after about 3 years. It is almost identical to that model, with exception of the surface light, which is now 1 light in the center, where the old one was separate lights on each side. It cooks decently, but the buttons are very hard to press, and I dont like that you can't set the power level until after selecting the cook time. I am generally underwhelmed by over-the-range microwaves, which only seem to last for me, at best, 4 years, and are a pain to replace.

Roomy inside and works great. Easy to install. We have a blind person living with us. He is able to use it along with the raised sticky buttons.

This replacement microwave from American Homeshield is a big downgrade from my previous one. I had this one for less than 2 months and the lights went out already and trying to heat food is literally a task in itself when almost hurting your fingers while pushing the poor quality buttons. I should've upgraded. This microwave will hopefully last a year with 6 people using it regularly.

Overall happy with the microwave, replaced an older broken GE. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the buttons have to pushed hard for them to register unlike the old one it replaced

WHEN it worked was incredibly LOUD and range light very weak. This was installed new in house prior to puchase and used lightly for 7 months before it stopped heating. Everything "works" (lights, fan, turntable) just stopped heating.

This oven replaced an 18 year old Kenmore/LG similar item. The GE operation is slightly different but my wife and I are learning how to operate it. This oven only has 1 surface light but it is bright enough to be useful at illuminating the stove top while cooking. Mounting was nearly the same as the Kenmore so only had to enlarge 1 upper cabinet hole for it to mount and it was easy to connect to existing roof vent hardware. It takes two people to mount it after moving stove to the side.

Yes there's nothing super spectacular about a regular regular microwave but THIS ONE? Gets your food hot to your hearts desire! I can't complain. This is an average microwave. The buttons are not easy to push and the placement of the key buttons like start and cancel are not a good design. Could use some UX research. Overall it works, just didn't WOW me at at.

We had this microwave as a replacement for our 25 year old GE that finally failed. So far so good, although it takes a bit longer than the old one to heat to the same level (hence, 4 stars). But honestly, we only use it to warm up food so we barely notice the few extra seconds it takes. It is roomy inside and not too noisy, although I would definitely not say it is quiet.

It's hard to review a product's performance when it is "NEW" but here are a few items I noticed right away. Display is white light and my other appliances have blue lights which is preferred. Instructions on how to use are vague and I had to search for better instructions and still wish some buttons were programable, like the popcorn button, my popcorn takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds to completely cook and when I hit the popcorn button I think it only cooks for 2 minutes which wastes a lot of kernels. Reheating, also is not intuitive like my previous microwave was. I think a review 1 year from now will give buyers a better perspective on this product. For the price I feel it is a good value but that is to be seen in a year or more. Not sure if I would recommend this product yet.
