I just had this installed today and dried one load A huge dog bed cover, very heavy, and big. It took approx. 40 min to dry completely. My old dryer would take over and hour or more.

My dryer tore a belt which I ended up replacing just for the bearings to fail. I was over taking it apart. I needed a dryer with a small footprint to fit in my tiny laundry room. This unit has a large load capacity and fits perfectly. The inly thing to make this a home run would be the controls. This comes with an old school dial and a quaker alarm reminiscent of the old school fire alarm. The bonus is there is a volume and mute dial.

This replaced my parents 24 year old dryer. I wanted something very basic and easy for them to use. But, I also wanted a reliable product. I knew I couldn't go wrong with a GE product. Price was amazing and It is easy to use and dries clothes in a timely manner.

We wanted a GE gas dryer and Warners Stellian was the only store in Des Moines where we could get it in 2 days not a week. Our last gas dryer was a EG Profile and we had it for 20 years and loved it, so we wanted another GE because we know it will LAST!

The knob to select the cycle is very hard to turn. Hurts my hand. The drum is very noisy and irritating. It dry's just fine. You have to slam the door hard to get it to snap shut.

The dryer works, it drys clothes, and does it reasonably quickly. The buzzer, even at the lowest setting is very loud and jarring. its kind of low to the ground, and kind of deep, so you have to bend and reach deep for it. If i had to do it again i would buy the elevator drawers to raise it up a bit.

I replaced a 5 year old dryer that needed a third repair, all expensive including the electronic board that runs all. I like it has knobs instead the computer board. The dryer filter could be bigger. It takes a little longer to dry your clothes but so far, I'm very happy with it. Love the large drum, you can dry very big loads.

Great bang for the buck-huge dryer-love that it is high for easy reaching and folding laundry. Handles different loads-love the alarm that is distinctive to alert you are done. I had a Whirlpool that died after 2 years-this feels stronger-dries faster. Smooth looking outside with easy to use dials.

I wish I could get an exchange for this dryer. The ONLY setting that drys clothes is on MORE DRY. The Time Dry does not dry the clothes. I had the company where we bought all our GE appliances out twice to "fix" it and was told by the repair man that this is how this dryer works. I would not recommend this dryer to anyone! I LOVE all my other GE appliances.
