I™™ve been using this freezer in our new home since the end of May. I love the size of a full freezer, even though it isn™™t as big as I anticipated in my head, since it is only counter depth, and no store around here carries it in person so I had to order it sight unseen. That being said, I can store a good amount in it, and love having the 2 individual fridge/freezer units side by side. Unfortunately, the amount of frost that builds up in the frost-free freezer is unexpected and disappointing. I have tried to make sure that air is able to circulate, but it doesn™™t seem to make a difference. Also, my ice cream is constantly soft and barely frozen, no matter where in the freezer I try to store it, and my frozen veggies always get frosty. I turned down the temperature to -5 to see if it would solidify the ice cream. Then I put a thermometer in there to test it, and I have yet to see the thermometer read a negative number, and it™™s been in there for over a month, and also tested to be accurate. Even first thing in the morning the lowest reading I see is 5 or. 6 degrees, but the ice cream still won™™t freeze solid. All in all, it is a pretty freezer next to my fridge. Disappointing in performance overall, who wants ice cream that melts the second you scoop it, and frozen veggies full of ice?

While the matching set of refrigerator and freezer is large and beautiful, the freezer is very loud for a home appliance. The freezer has malfunctioned and needs repair in the ninth month of ownership.

We bought this freezer over a month ago - we are very happy to have it - it fit just right where we wanted to put it - it looks great and is running well - we already have it stocked up with meat we find on sale and other things

We bought this fridge without the freezer for our newly remodeled kitchen. It was mainly chosen because it was a perfect fit and honestly there aren't many counter depth 33' units out there. Everything was fine for a year, however right after - just when the warranty expired - by the way there used to be a 5 year warranty on this 'professional' series unit, the fridge stopped working. The compressor was running but the fridge was not cooling, everything was room temperature inside. I called customer service and of course they refused to service it since it was out of warranty. We had to call a third part service provider that luckily was able to fix it for about $300. Now that almost another year past the fridge stopped working again. Not sure what's wrong with it this time but at this point I would love to get some help from the manufacturer. It would be nice if they stood by their product instead of quoting policy and warranty rules. Our previous fridge we had over 12 years and never had a single issue with it, only reason we replaced it was the remodel. There is no way an up-to-date, professional grade fridge should last only a year and require constant fixing.

My biggest complaint is no ice and water in the door. Product integrity is jeopardized by every time the door is opened. The dispenser would help reduce jeopardizing my food.

I ordered this freezer on April 23, 2019. I finally received it the end of May 2019. I bought it for my second home and used it from the end of May until the end of October when we unplugged it, drained the water lines and propped the door open as we wouldn't be using it until the next spring. I restarted this unit in late April of 2020. By June 20 the unit no longer functioned. It is conveniently out of warranty so now I have a very pretty CLOSET! Do not pay $1700.00 for a closet that this company will not stand behind. I have contacted various people but the usual response is it sucks to be you, enjoy your CLOSET!

It™™s a nice looking freezer and it works well. My three minor complaints are that it runs a bit loud, has air filters that need to be replaced every six months, and a door alarm that can only be temporarily deactivated. This means that if you have a lot to load, you have to keep disabling the alarm. Other than those minor issues, it seems to be a good quality product.

This is the LOUDEST Fridge/Freezer I've EVER heard. I've been in retail grocery business before and commercial units were not this loud. Seems to be more the Freezer than the Fridge. Called the local Frigidaire serviceman out and he said there's nothing he can do. That this is just the way this unit is. Along with our open kitchen/LR layout, the noise and echo make it impossible to enjoy yourself with company over. I can't imagine a reputable company would make a unit this loud !!! HELP !!!!!!

I bought this piece of junk single door freezer in August 2019. Thought it was so terrific and looks so good with the matching refrigerator and trim kit. Love the storage and how both units look. Then the noise started in the freezer. Just a little whirring at first. Now it gets so loud it's terribly distracting. We have a large room that has our living room and kitchen in one room. We've had numerous visitors asking what in the world that noise is. So, a couple of weeks ago I contacted the customer service for Frigidaire to as for a service call to find out what's going on. Was put on hold 40 minutes waiting for a rep, only to be hung up on, not once but twice. A few days later I called back, waited on hold 30 minutes and spoke with a very nice lady. She was very sympathetic, but said she could not send anyone out, because this freezer has a history of making a "slight high pitched humming noise". I explained that that was certainly not disclosed to me when I purchased this unit. Sorry, can't do anything about it. So she sent me to a woman who was supposedly in the corporate office of Frigidaire. She was all but rude. Said there wasn't anything she could do about it. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

We bought this set so we would not have to buy a second freezer.I had my kitchen built to fit. It's not as big as it looks the shelves are not deep. It does hold quite a bit. I like having the ice machine takes a little long to make a full tray. There is no filter for the ice maker.

The freezer is ok, but the size is not very practical for a number of reasons, one of the biggest being the freezer (and the fridge for that matter) are not quite deep enough and you can only adjust shelving so much. Also, as I mentioned on my fridge review, you are going to need a custom built area to fit these so if/when the unit dies you are either stuck with this footprint (and probably Frigidaire) or rebuilding a new area/having an odd looking one. The lack of indoor ice (and water) is very annoying and last but not least god help you if you close the door and realize you forgot something. Closing the door creates a vacuum and you will be unable to open the door again for 15-30 seconds and this isn't my opinion, it is in their support. Dumb.We got these appliances with our new home, and so far if given the choice we would have gone with another brand or at the very least other models for all appliances. These are usable, but a couple we absolutely hate (I'm looking at you dishwasher and microwave).

We purchased this along with the matching refrigerator for our new home. The freezer works great and is spacious however it is LOUD. The compressor or fan humming is driving us nuts. I called for a repairman but because of the virus it's not an emergency and can't be dealt with. My husband is ready to bring it back.

Before we renovated our kitchen I had a side-by-side and an additional freezer in the garage. Unpacking groceries was a nightmare always trying to find space. Not anymore!! You won't believe how much this holds, and with the pandemic I'm easily able to limit shopping trips because of the storage in this freezer (and no more need for one in garage). Runs great from day one. My only suggestion is with the ice maker. It should've been on right side so you don't have to open door as far to grab a few cubes. And the bin should have been much taller as the ice cubes do quickly overflow the one provided.

Purchased this with the Fridge, that works great, the freezer is so loud it runs me out of my kitchen when I try to work at my island. I have had 2 service calls, and they installed a patch for the sound. It has not been successful. Sad. I would replace it but it is built in custom cabinets.

We love this appliance! My only complaints:-we custom built our home with this appliance already selected and even after having all the measurements before building was completed the fridge still doesn™™t fully ™recess™ into our opening from the cabinet surround. Disappointing because I wanted a smooth seamless look... it still sticks out a good 2™. Not awesome but still love the fridge. -the ice maker tray is loose and doesn™™t appear have any way to secure into place. If you aren™™t careful, ice will shoot around your freezer if the tray isn™™t positioned just right.

This freezer is such a pleasure to have -- it holds SO much food, and has 2 pull-out drawers and many separated areas for various food groups. The only drawback is that I am only 5' tall and 60, and the vacuum pressure of the door makes it a bit hard to open without a good "tug" but it's good for my strength. We have stocked it full of foods etc. and love it. Have never had this much room in a freezer IN my kitchen before-

This freezer came with our newly built home and has been extremely loud since day 1, as the technicians have tried to fix the issue the noise has gotten worse, currently it sounds like a jet engine in a blender. Every appliance in our home is Frigidaire or Electrolux and the freezer is the only one with these problems. It™™s so loud that you can hear it throughout the house and will startle you awake at night.
